KS2 Visit to Greenwich Observatory & National Maritime Museum

KS2 VISIT TO THE GREENWICH OBSERVATORY AND NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM

WEDNESDAY 16TH NOVEMBER 2011

To enhance our studies of “Around The World”, we have organized a visit to the Greenwich Observatory and National Maritime Museum, for all KS2 classes, on Wednesday 16th November 2011.

We will be travelling by coach and will leave school promptly at 8.30 a.m. so children will need to be in school for registration by 8.15 a.m. We will be returning back to school at approximately 4.00 p.m, traffic permitting. All children will need to bring a packed lunch on this day – no fizzy drinks or glass bottles please. For children with a free school meal entitlement, a packed lunch will be provided, if requested.

The cost of this trip will be £11.50 per child. A small amount of spending money is allowed, but no more than £5.00 please. This must be in a labelled envelope, but will be the responsibility of your child to look after. Please note that no cameras are allowed.

If your child suffers from travel sickness, please make sure the correct medicine is taken before school and enough for the return journey is handed to your child’s teacher, in a named envelope.

Please complete the permission slip sent home recently (or download this letter & the slip to print out again, here) and return to school as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,

Miss L McCullough
