Take to the pavements!
As part of ‘National Walking Month in May’, schools across the country will be striding out for Walk to School Week.
This event takes places from 21st to 25th May and encourages pupils, parents and teachers to leave the car behind and walk to school instead.
Walking not only helps children meet their recommended 60 minutes of activity a day, it also helps them learn road safety skills and, of course, saves you some petrol!!
For children who live a bit further from school, parents could park up and walk the remainder of the journey.
We really hope all the families of Holy Trinity will join us in ‘Walk to School Week’.
Our participation in ‘Walk To School Week’ is part of our ongoing commitment to Lifelong Learning (LLL), details of which will be appearing on this website over the coming weeks.
