Summer Fete – Teddy Tombola
It’s almost 3 weeks till Summer Fete – but the much loved Teddy Tombola is desperately low on Teddies – so why not have a clear out and donate any unwanted teddies to the PTFA – we’re sure we will find a loving home for them.
Please take any donations to the office…Thank you!
This year instead of just asking for donations we wanted to make it more fun by getting the children involved…..
So we have organised a non uniform day but instead of bringing in money we are asking that all pupils bring in an item for the Bottle Tombola, below is a list of suggestions –
• Bubble bath
• Fizzy drinks
• Soft drinks
• Jars of chutney etc.
Please give generously and be as imaginative as you like it would be great to get some attractive and interesting things on the stall to attract as many people as we can.
NON UNIFORM DAY WILL BE – Friday 15th June 2012 – There will be collection points by both entrance gates – we would ask that if you are donating glass bottles that they are carried into school by an adult.
We hope the children will enjoy their non uniform day.
Crockery for the crock smash (doesn’t matter if it’s old, ugly or chipped)
Tins/Jars/Wine/Beer/Alcohol/Toiletries for the tombola
Unwanted presents for the raffle
Bric a brac
Please take any donations to the school office
If you would like to bake or buy a cake for the cake stall please bring it either the day before the fete or take it to the cake stall on the day – THANK YOU
Diamond Jubilee Tea Towels
These wonderful tea towels have been produced to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee – every child (apart from those who have joined in the past month) has drawn their own portrait which is featured on the towel – they make a lovely memento of this historic occasion. If you have already placed your order you can now collect it from the office. Alternatively tea towels are now available to buy for just £3 from the school office AFTER school.
Thanking you in advance – Your PTFA Committee
Put the date of the Summer Fete in your diary now Saturday 23rd June 1-4 pm
