Dear Parents, Friends and Children,
I hope that your children have enjoyed being back at school. It has been lovely to see your children and, in some cases, meet your children for the first time. Our new starters have made a fantastic start to their time at Holy Trinity, they have settled in so well and have adapted to our routines and expectations magnificently.
Despite the sad news that we were all faced with on our return I am very proud to say that everyone at Holy Trinity has pulled together and made a great start to the school year. I would like to thank you all for your support, kindness and loyalty at this time. It is times like this when the wonderful spirit and camaraderie of Holy Trinity really shines through. Mrs Weavers would have been exceedingly proud too.
There are a few small issues I would like to briefly cover:
Snack Shop: The new snack shop is open to Key Stage Two children everyday. The shop sells homemade flapjacks, muffins, fresh fruit and dried fruit. All items are 20p.
Reading Diaries: We no longer make a charge for Key Stage Two reading diaries. In fact, the reading diaries have been completely re-designed so children can record their weekly times tables and spellings.
Celebration Assembly: Our first Celebration Assembly of the new school year will be held on Friday 14th September. All parents, friends and family are welcome to come along.
Thank you for your support, it has been very much appreciated, and thank you for entrusting your children to us, it is something we take very seriously but also very much enjoy! Have a good weekend.
