A Visit From The Bishop Of Chelmsford

We were lucky this week to be joined by a special visitor, the Bishop Stephen Cottrell, who is the Bishop of the Diocese of Chelmsford. He visited Halstead, and after speaking at a lunch in the town, he came to Holy Trinity Primary School to meet the children and give an assembly explaining the role of a Bishop. He showed us the clothes that he wears and what each part symbolises. As always, the behaviour of the children was exemplary, which was commented on by Bishop Stephen when staff met with him after school.
