I would like to remind families that I would like to see our children contributing articles to the school newsletter. Although there are occasions when work ‘in class’ can contribute to the newsletter our curriculum time is in such demand that this is not always possible. If your children would like to contribute something, please encourage them to email content, ideas or articles to me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. I may not be able to include all material, but I will certainly consider everything that has been sent in. Writing for the newsletter gives children a purpose and audience for their writing and it’s great practice
We are also looking for contributions for our new School Prayer Book. Just before we broke up for Christmas, our Prayer Book went missing. The Prayer contains a selection of prayers, many of them written by former pupils of Holy Trinity nearly a decade ago! Whilst we have managed to salvage some of the old prayers that were written by ex-pupils (many of whom have now left secondary school!), it would be great if we could have some simple prayers written by our current pupils. Again, contributions can be sent to me via email (by using their Tabecat email accounts), or dropped in at my office.
