On Monday 19th October (2.30) Mr Rob James (Headteacher) and Mr Callum Leys (Deputy Headteacher) from The Ramsey Academy will be coming to Holy Trinity to talk about the progress and future of the school.
The meeting will be informal, but very informative. You will be able to ask questions about primary school transition, talk directly to the leaders of Halstead’s secondary school and hear about their plans for the future. They would also appreciate feedback/opinions from anyone who went to the Open Evening on Wednesday 30 September.
Whilst this meeting is very much aimed at parents with children in Year 5 and 6, I would encourage as many parents as possible to come along. Speaking from experience, the move to secondary school is not too far away for most families, and it is important to hear about the way in which The Ramsey Academy has progressed under the current leaders. Mr James and Mr Leys are committed to developing positive relationships with our school and I have been really impressed with the way in which our ‘old’ children have settled into life at The Ramsey Academy.
Our doors will open at 2.30pm and Mr James and Mr Leys are really keen to spend more time in Halstead’s Primary Schools getting to know our parents and, most importantly, our great children!
Refreshments will be available, it will be an informal meeting so please do not worry about bringing younger children along as well. The meeting will take place in the School Hall and will finish in time for you to collect your children at the end of the school day.
