On Monday in assembly we started to think about the microbes on our hands. Usually we can’t see these as they are so small. One of the ways we can see them is to use a microscope, another way is to let them grow until there is enough for us to see.
We started an investigation to see which group of people could grow the most microbes on a slice of bread from the microbes that were already on their hands.
Who has the most microbes? Who needs to wash their hands more thoroughly? Key Stage One? Foundation? The Staff? Key Stage Two? or even The Parents?
