Today the new school kitchen opened, run by new school cook Mrs Crisp. Here are some reviews from staff and Year 5 pupils of the first day’s meal: pizza, chips & coleslaw followed by apple crumble and custard.
“I was impressed with the lunch today. The home-made pizza was very tasty and there was plenty of it. The coleslaw wasn’t bland as it often can be in other places – again really tasty. Finishing off with the excellent apple crumble and custard was a treat – I shall be having a school dinner again!” – Mr. Handy
“I thought that lunch today was a brilliant first meal from our new school cook.” – Emily Y5
