Tomorrow (Tuesday 8th February 2011) is Safer Internet Day 2011.
Although we are not marking the day in school with any events we do run e-Safety assemblies and are in the process of updating our e-Safety Policy in light of technological developments over the past few years. As part of that process every pupil has filled in an anonymous questionnaire provided by CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) to help us better tailor the e-Safety training we provide in school to the needs of the pupils.
Safer Internet Day does provide an opportunity to make you aware of our developing e-Safety page here on the school website. It is linked to via the logo down the right hand side of every page. The page is a work-in-progress but does provide a few key reminders to pupils about safe internet use and a series of links to websites which may be useful to parents too.
If there are any issues relating to e-Safety that you would like to discuss with us at school please do not hesitate to get in touch.
