Christmas Cooking Recipes

The families of children in Year 3/4 will hopefully have been gorging themselves on the coconut ice, peppermint creams, chocolate truffles and Christmas biscuits that were sent home on Wednesday.

As you can imagine, getting 60 children to make 4 different types of sweet in 2 days and then have them wrapped and presented in decorated boxes is quite a feat. Well done to the children for doing such a great job and thank you to all the staff and voluntary help that made it possible.

By popular request you can download all the recipes we used here (they’re fairly standard but have been adapted to be egg white free) and below are some photos of Class H’s finished boxes and sweets…
