As part of our ‘Let us Entertain you’ theme, the PTFA are generously funding a trip on Thursday 14th March 2013, for all children in KS2 to go to the Warner Bros Studio in Watford to explore the magic of the Harry Potter films!!
This tour will take the children behind the scenes of the most successful film series of all time and they will be able to step inside the Great Hall, explore Dumbledore’s Office, step onto the famous cobbles of Diagon Alley and see iconic props such as Harry’s Nimbus 2000 and Hagrid’s motorcycle!!
We will travel by coach, leaving school at 8.30 a.m. and returning from Watford at 3.30 p.m.. All children will therefore need to be in school by 8.15 a.m. latest for registration and will return to school at approximately 5.00 p.m, traffic permitting. If children arrive late we will not be able to wait for them and the coaches will leave at 8.30 sharp.
All children should wear school uniform and will need to bring a packed lunch and sufficient drink for the day – no fizzy drinks or glass bottles please. For children with a free school meal entitlement, a packed lunch will be provided, if requested.
You may also, if you wish, provide your child with some spending money for the shop, but we have been reliably informed that the merchandise on sale is expensive with the cheapest item being a Chocolate Frog which costs £5.00!! A Guide Book costs £9.95. Please be aware that your child will have to take full responsibility for any money they bring with them and we cannot be held responsible for what they choose to purchase. They may also wish to bring a camera with them as there are lots of exciting photo opportunities throughout the attraction to ensure that your child takes home an everlasting memory of this wonderful day out, but again we cannot be held responsible for these. Please note that this must be just a camera as we will not permit children to take a mobile phone with them.
