Easter I-Spy in Halstead

Surprises may be in store for Easter Saturday shoppers in Halstead!

You may bump into a Roman soldier in the High Street, or a Jewish priest or even a released convict.

Churches Together in Halstead is holding an Easter I-Spy for children from 10:00-11:45 a.m. on 30th March.. Children can obtain a leaflet from outside Solar in Weavers’ Court, listing the ten characters from the Easter story who are to be found in costume somewhere in the High Street. The children then need to find each character and ask him (or her) to sign their leaflet, and maybe tell their story. When all ten signatures have been collected, the children can return to Solar and claim a prize.

And there is more! At 12:00 there will be a chance to hear some Easter music sung by a choir from Churches Together outside Solar. Easter carols are usually less well known than Christmas ones, so do come and hear them.

Churches Together wish you a very happy Easter!
