Breakfast Club opens at 7.30am and is run by Mrs Ridgwell and Mrs Hackett. When Breakfast Club finishes the children are directed (and in the case of younger children escorted) to their classrooms.
This is a new venture for our school and to make it viable we will have to sustain numbers of 25+ children per day. We are absolutely committed to running it for the entirety of the Autumn Term, but we may have to review it’s viability if we do not attract the numbers of children we need in order to make it sustainable in the longer term.
Our catering team will be organising the ‘breakfast’ element so we will try to be a little more adventurous in terms of the choice, selection and variety of foods that we serve. There will be a range of activities offered to the children who attend the new Breakfast Club including games, reading, art/craft and homework help.
A pack explaining how you go about registering and booking (including all the necessary forms) is available from Mrs Ridgwell.
I hope that you will support this new initiative, it is something that a significant number of parents have requested for two-three years and hopefully it will become an important part of the day for many of our children. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
