Eclipse Update

Sadly, as for much of the country, clouds obscured our view of this morning’s eclipse BUT: We still did all go outside to witness it getting cooler and darker; Our research team of pupils recorded data relating to the eclipse using data loggers and thermometers; We watched the amazing eclipse footage taken from above the clouds on the big screen in the hall; Pinhole cameras have been in use in classes during the day; And our weather station recorded a clear drop in temperature during the eclipse, bottoming out at 9.35am. So whilst the eclipse itself was something of a disappointment the day overall has been both enjoyable and scientifically useful!

More eclipse-related work and photos will appear soon.
