We all strive to set a positive example to our children. Your children and other pedestrians are being put at risk of being killed or seriously injured by drivers who park or drop off on the yellow zig-zag markings outside the school.
Pedestrians, and in particular children, should be able to cross the road outside their school without having their safety compromised.
Your children need to be able to see clearly in both directions to be able to cross the road safely and drivers need to be able to see them.
You may think that you are a responsible driver and this does not apply to you. But if you park or drop off on the zig-zag markings outside the school, you can block the children’s view of oncoming traffic, making crossing the road unnecessarily hazardous. Thank you for your help,
