This week we have received a complaint from a parent about some of the language that is being used by a tiny minority of parents on the playground before and after school.
Whilst we are sure that this is an isolated incident, we think it is important to remember that children pick up on words and language so quickly… so please be careful. Bad language has absolutely no place in our school and certainly not in front of our children.
Furthermore, we have also been approached by a parent expressing concern that cars are parking on the yellow lines by the main school drive.
Inappropriate parking causes problems with our neighbours and, more importantly, it significantly increases the risk of an accident by reducing the visibility of pedestrians and drivers. Beridge Road can be dangerous, especially when cars are parked poorly/illegally. Please take care and consider our children, not the distance you park your car from the school.
In order to ensure the safety and welfare of our parents and children we have asked the local Police to increase their patrols in the Beridge Road area.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
