Holy Trinity are currently phasing in individual care plans for all pupils who have been diagnosed with asthma by their GP. On Tuesday Holy Trinity parent, and professional asthma nurse, Alison Poulson ran an interesting and informative session for parents of children with asthma. It provided valuable information and advice on medicines, equipment, and the impact of the new care plans. The session was well attended and the feedback we have received has been excellent.
We would like to thank Mrs Poulson for volunteering her time to prepare and run the session, and we are delighted that she has offered to make the meeting an annual event so new and existing Holy Trinity parents can receive up to date asthma advice, and have their knowledge refreshed. Having a health professional give up their time to help the school community is something we very much appreciate.
