Holy Trinity To Observe A Minute’s Silence

Dear Parents, Friends, Children and Families

In line with the decision announced this morning by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, we will be observing a minute’s silence in school tomorrow (Tuesday 6th June) at 11.00am.

We will hold a short period of reflection in a sensitive and calm manner; it is an emotive subject and sadly it will be the second time we have held a minute’s silence in the last few weeks. I feel it is very important that we take part in this national mark of respect.

We will again focus upon the importance of fundamental British Values: friendship, democracy, tolerance, respect and the rule of law. Your children observed the minute’s silence for victims of the Manchester terrorist attack impeccably and showed incredible maturity; we will conduct this period of reflection in a similar manner.

With every good wish,

Jon Smith (Headteacher)
