Children In Need 2018

Thank you to everyone who supported our Children In Need events last week. Together we have raised over £300 which will go towards supporting 2,400 projects all across the UK. The projects Children In Need fund help children facing a range of disadvantages for example poverty and deprivation; children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect or disabled young people.

We held a Soak-a-Teacher event which in itself raised over £180. Mr Handy topped the totals raised, receiving pledges worth £100 compared to Miss Todd in second with £30… You can see a gif (right), a video (with sound) and a couple of photos of the soaking below. Huge thanks to all nine teachers who put their names forward and risked getting wet for a good cause. It was also great to see so many parents and friends come along to watch.

During the day each class also created penny wheels or penny pictures of their class animal. They were very creative and you can see photos of their work below too.

The money raised at Holy Trinity will make a positive difference to young people’s lives. Thank you for your support.
