Year 2 finished off this half term’s science topic by thinking about why exercise is important. As part of this they completed 10 minutes of intensive exercise by doing some basic circuit training. They described themselves as: tired, sweaty, exhausted, dizzy, refreshed, good, hot, achy and happy when thinking about how the exercise made them feel. Afterwards we considered all the benefits to the body and mind of taking part in regular exercise, and thought about the different types of exercise we do.
