What a day! The first school visit in too long was a great success. We learned loads about Roman Britain, and had a lots of fun in the process. The children were amazing: enthusiastic, well behaved, and a credit to the Holy Trinity School community. Our (excellent) guide was glowing in his praise of them, and even when they had the unexpected delay on the return journey they were sensible, funny, and a pleasure to work with. Well done, and thank you, Hornets!
Thank you also to our coach driver who took us down some tiny lanes to get us home in reasonable time, and to the Hornet Class parents who supported us to make sure this trip happened.
We’ll be following the visit up in class of course, and here are some of the photos we took during the day.
