PHONICSWEB – Letters & Sounds – Recordings by Mrs Gladen of the letter sounds used to teach phonics at Holy Trinity.
WEB – Oxford Owl – A website designed for parents to help their children with their reading, it also has Oxford Reading Tree e-books and activities.
WEB – Love Reading 4 Kids is a website with book recommendations for different age children. Each book has extracts that you can look at and print out.

Children should practice the Maths from the appropriate booklet and then ask their class teacher to test them when they feel ready.

Please note: Reference to specific year-groups in these booklets is as guidance only and gives information for an ‘average’ child. In reality there are very few ‘average’ children and you will probably also find useful the booklets for above and below your child’s year group. These are also being reviewed in light of the new National Curriculum.
