Tabecat Help

Usernames & Passwords

For Sumdog, Bug Club, Purple Mash & Crystal pupils should login with the system username/password they use in school.

Bug Club also requires the school ID: mq9r

For Education City & O-Generator pupils should login with the system password they use in school and their username prefixed with ‘htps’: htpsusername

For Google Apps (E-Mail, Drive, Sites & Groups) pupils should login with the system password they use in school and their username suffixed with ‘@tabecat.com’: username@tabecat.com (This is also their e-mail address.)

For Makewaves children have chosen their own usernames and passwords.

Search uses Kiddle.co which uses Google Safesearch and curated sites. Although heavily filtered no search engine can ever be 100% perfect. Children are taught Tabecat’s “OK OFF TELL” rule at school and it would be useful if you could remind them of it when they use the internet at school.

Availability

All pupils have free access to Sumdog, Bug Club, Purple Mash and the Goggle Apps at school and home.

Education City is available for all pupils in school but home access requires payment of £2 per academic year.

Crystal, Makewaves, Charanga & O-Generator are made available to some older children when they are required in the Computing or Music Curriculums.

Children are only able to use Google E-Mail within the school community – to send and receive e-mails with the pupils and staff of Holy Trinity.
