Overview

Through our Geography curriculum we strive to give our children a sense of awe and wonder about the world around them and a lifelong curiosity about the different environments across the world.  We want our children to have a good understanding of geographical vocabulary and terminology so they can discuss, describe and question the world that we live in and their place within it. 

Our curriculum aims to provide the children with competent geographical skills that have been built upon over time and the ability to read, write and think critically as geographers. We wish for the children to have an understanding of how our environment impacts on their lives, how their lives impact on the environment and have an awareness of their role in the world with a conscience about how they act as global citizens.
