School Improvement

Key Priorities 2025 - 2026
Priority Area Detail
1 Aspire for Excellence – Deepening the Aspirant Culture The focus is on improving KS2 SAT attainment (even though most results last year were above national figures), particularly in writing and reading, and supporting SEND pupils to meet or exceed national standards. Strengthening KS1 progress is key to improving Year 6 outcomes. High-quality CPD and targeted interventions will support greater depth standards, alongside structured curriculum reviews. Parental engagement in reading and writing will be increased through workshops and communication. Regular data reviews will ensure interventions remain effective and progress is closely monitored.
2 Enhance Outward-looking Exemplary Behaviours The school will maintain its distinct Christian character and commitment to character education. Efforts will target achieving awards such as ArtsMark, Global Neighbours Gold, International Award, and Eco School Status. Aspirations include achieving the World Class Schools Award for excellence and global citizenship. Environmental projects will continue under the Eco Council’s leadership. Inclusive provision for SEND pupils will be developed through high-quality spaces and opportunities.
3 Excellent Teaching and Learning High-quality CPD will ensure all teachers are exemplary practitioners with strong subject expertise and ambitious learning goals. A creative, language-rich curriculum will promote innovative blended learning. Regular monitoring through data review pit-stops will identify and support pupils at risk of underachievement. Attendance and progress data will guide interventions. The impact of strategies will be reviewed annually to refine future teaching approaches.
4 Unique Curriculum Enrichment The school will maintain high aspirations through rich learning experiences, including themed weeks and visiting speakers. Events will promote wellbeing, eco-awareness, and social justice. Global partnerships with schools in China, France, and Thailand will broaden pupils’ perspectives. The arts and humanities will enhance cultural capital, especially for disadvantaged pupils. Initiatives like ‘Composer of the Week’ and public speaking will develop creativity and confidence.
5. Revised Responsive Relevant Curriculum The new ‘SMART’ curriculum will be implemented to meet all learners’ needs. It will include PSHE, SRE, and Citizenship, emphasising sustainability and global responsibility. Enhanced SEND and More Able Learner provision will ensure inclusive excellence. The bespoke Holy Trinity Curriculum will enable all pupils to achieve exceptional standards from their starting points. Collaboration through research and national and international partnerships will drive continuous improvement.
